The high chain speed and optimized torque provide outstanding cutting performance, so you can easily handle even tougher cuts. Max Torque technology ensures consistent power and minimizes the risk of the chain getting stuck in the wood when felling or cutting. Equipped with a stepless throttle for easy adaptation to different tasks and a user-friendly keypad for smooth and intuitive operation.
With a low noise level and minimal vibrations, the 242i is comfortable to use and easy to maneuver. To extend battery life, it has an automatic shut-off function that turns off the saw if it is left unattended for 180 seconds. The chainsaw is part of Husqvarna's flexible 36V system BLi-X, which means that one and the same battery can be used for multiple tools.
